Music Director: Devi Sri Prasad
Riding high after Attarintiki Daredi super success, Trivikram Srinivas knows how he shouldnot disappoint with his next film. And that happened to be S/o Satyamurthy where Allu Arjun played the son. Let us see how far Trivikram succeeded in making a perfect entertainer.
By watching the star director Trivikram’s heart touching speech at audio success event, gives us the lead on how S/o Satyamurthy is going to be. Eveny kid’s father is his own hero!! Well, Mr Satyamurthy (Prakash Raj) is rich at money and heart. His sons (Vennela Kishore) and Viraj Anand (Allu Arjun) never knew how life treats them without the money and the status they had. Only after death of Satyamurthy, Viraj Anand is forced to learn lessons from life, when he wants his father’s name in good books forever. The story tells us how Viraj keeps his father’s values up.
By letting down Paida Sambasiva Rao’s (Rajendra Prasad) idea to apply for IP, when Satyamurthy left Viraj with debts and assets in equal ratio, Viraj’s decision to clear debts irks Paida, obviously. Viraj needs to enter Devaraj’s (Upendra) house as Paida too has an obligation against Satyamurthy, where the land sold by him to Paida is encroached by Devaraj. Viraj stubborn path to keep his values high leaves him with everything he wanted finally.
Trivikram Is Back
When Trivikram is praised to high for Attarintiki Daredi, for its ‘family entertainer’ tag, he should be considered demigod for his emotions and clarity in delivering a stunning ‘real family entertainer’ like S/o Satyamurthy that deals and connects or syncs with every person’s timeline somewhere or the other. Keeping this depth of emotions apart, Trivikram is very well known for his superb one liners and everlasting satires. Once again, he is back with those sort with Son of Satyamurthy. One who have not enjoyed his ‘mark’ punch dialogues and satires in Attarintiki Daredi or Julayi either, can definitely see his coming back with S/o Satyamurthy!!
Best Balance of Roles
Prakash Raj is in short role, but as said by Trivikram himself, every father stays behind his children even after he left this world. The values and ethics of Prakash Raj lies as thread from beginning to end, carried by Allu Arjun. Upendra and Rajendra Prasad shares almost equal screen time, with ofcourse equally important roles. MS Narayana appeared in a blink and miss role, as Rao Ramesh’s brother. Sampath Raj in a crisp role but made his presence felt. Sneha appeared in a good role. Ali was supportive. Krishna Chaitanya, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Shailaja Priya, Vennela Kishore, Sindhu Tolani, Pavitra Lokesh did their best in given roles.
Adah is White…Samantha is Hot… Nitya is Short
Of three heroines, Adah Sharma looked cute in the first part and only before (Sameera aka Subbalakshmi) Samantha enters the story as her friend. Samantha is sexier than all her roles in previous films. She looked more beautiful than ever in many scenes. Not just looks, but Sam steals the show with her timing and expressions too, showing the acting maturity in each passing film. Nitya Menon looked cute and short, her role was neat.
Allu Arjun fits to T….. T for Trivikram
Nobody can guess or imagine any other actor in Viraj Anand’s role, as Allu Arjun fits it to best way. As an ultra posh partying chap or a struggling guy who wants to keep everything back in place, along with his father’s name of fame, Allu Arjun lives in the role. The credit can be given to star director for etching a role that suits the actor or he found the best actor to fill in the role he gave birth to. Allu Arjun is the next superstar in big league, who can take up any role and make us agree thats his own role, damn it!
Well, Trivikram Srinivas knows what he is making and his clarity on subject, his vision on values, his depth in emotions, his words for feelings, his respect for roles, his love for characters lives in his movies, precisely iin S/o Satyamurthy.
Brahmanandam Used… Ali Cruised
After a little long gap, Brahmanandam appeared in big ticket film, ofcourse Trivikram always had a character that only Brahmi can justify. Brahmanandam brings laughs in theatres, while Ali sails along with few laughs throughout at regular intervals. To mention, S/o Satyamurthy is MS Narayana’s last ever big film and he appeared in a small role that lasts for few minutes.
Upendra Occupies…..Rajendra Prasad justifies
Kannada superstar Upendra obliged to appear in a crucial role for S/o Satyamurthy and obviously made his presence much felt, literally he occupies the whole screen space with his presence. His dialogue accent and his powerful acts make us feel his aura. Upendra can lock the audience eyes onto him, while he is on screen and his character too fits well. Rajendra prasad need not find it tough with emotional or satirical scenes as he is good at both of them and many more. So his role is justified.
DSP Is Perfect…
If it is for Arjun, Devisri Prasad gives his best and if it is for Trivikram too, no one needs to ask anything else from Devi. Background score is good, few songs are very good. There are no critical or excellent dance moves from Allu Arjun, but they are not bad either. Cinematography is excellent and rich. Locations are grand and poshy, so are the actors’ costumes.
Real Family Entertainer
Nobody knows the formula to make a best entertainer, but when one knows how to narrate a meaningful good story, he can give us a good entertainer too. Trivikram succeeds in narrating the story of a son to a great father, who finally proves thats ethics and Values are assets, anytime!!
Perfect Family Entertainer and
Yes!! Better than Attarintiki Daredi
